KOPI, IMUNOSTIMULAN ALAMI TUBUH MENANGKAL COVID-19: LITERATURE REVIEW

Abstract


Pandemi Covid-19 memakan banyak korban jiwa, dan sangat berdampak pada sektor ekonomi dan sosial. Upaya meningkatkan imunitas secara alami dengan bahan herbal menjadi solusi praktis untuk menangkal Covid-19. Kopi merupakan potensi lokal Temanggung memiliki manfaat terhadap kesehatan. Literature review ini bertujuan untuk meneliti apakah kopi mampu meningkatkan imun dalam menangkal Covid-19. Pencarian literature menggunakan database Google Scholar dan Pubmed dengan kata kunci “kopi, antioksidan, imun dan Covid-19â€, serta pembatasan bahasa dan tahun terbit. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa kopi memiliki kandungan antioksidan yang berpotensi melawan Covid-19, dengan menjaga kepatenan saluran pernapasan. Kopi layak dikembangkan menjadi sediaan obat dan suplemen makanan herbal untuk meningkatkan imunitas. Mengkonsumsi kopi dengan takaran tertentu dan teratur mampu menjaga imunitas tubuh. Pola hidup yang sehat, dengan diet gizi seimbang, menjaga kebersihan, kecukupan konsumsi air, olahraga, istirahat dan tidur juga mampu meningkatkan kekebalan tubuh. Kesimpulan: kopi merupakan senyawa antioksidan yang mampu dikembangkan menjadi sediaan obat dan makanan untuk meningkatkan imunitas dalam menangkal Covid-19.Penelitian lanjutan tentang kopi dan bahan turunannya sebagai alternatif terapi herbal sangat perlu dilakukan.
